I am proposing to promote a couple of projects which I think are promising and worthwhile. I'm not claiming they are perfect, only that they are significantly interesting examples of their type.
 
The first must be one of the most best kept secrets of the internet, and this is UNL, the Universal Networking Language. I won't say anything about the other one just yet, except to say that it is an open source general purpose language parsing system.
